Transfer Complete Teaser

The teaser to the biggest movie we have done so far, Transfer Complete. Transfer is our attempt at a good old fashoned Cyber Punk Martial Arts short. It was a fun project, the most effort we have done so far. Oh, make sure you watch my head during the fall. You will know where, you can see God's hand at the top of the screen. (BTW, you can't see that hand on aTV, it is off the frame)

Transfer Complete

Our big film is finally here! It is our 8 Minute long epic journey of a cyber punk into the world of Corporate Kung Fu Thugs. So far this is our most refined film to date, from sappy voice-overs to goofy jokes. Sorry I don't have a faster sever to put this HUGE file on, if anyone wants to offer a mirror please let me know.

Russian Sifu

Work in progress. The plan is we are going to get a few solid choreo sequences down, film/edit/review/change them and repeat. Hopefully this will result as a basis for some other film work later, plus give us that power and flexibility you get when you get the chance to watch the results and change what you don't like about it. Check back for later versions.

Hammock

Goofy little film, wanted to try a few new things out. Some of the stunts came out well. Some of the good takes wound up being unusable which really hurts the film -- if we were to go back for a few hours and fix some of the shots it would make this much better. But it was a experiment, so I am writing down the problems and planning on not making the mistakes again.

Doughnut

Busting out the young talent. Camron and Alex showed to help Me, Glenn and Tom make another Ad-lib Movie. Tom get injured so we use a little camera trick to swap the less injured glenn in...see if you can tell where.

Nerf time

This is just silly. An attempt at bullet time-like camera work.

Remote

When your buddy goes and buys a new house you gotta go break it in (and scare the neighbors) by making a quick flick there.

We caused little to no damage to the house it self. I was so proud. Unfortunately we had to cut it a little short because kids showed up to the playground and wanted to play on it.

Bear Attack

What happens when Bryan wants to send in a audition video for survivor? He rents a bear suit! A movie with a budget, sorta. The bear suit cost something like $60, so this is our most expensive production yet. This is not actually the survivor video he sent in but an action sequence made from the leftover parts.

I swear if you are gonna rent a bear suit and go to the park with broadswords and a camera alot of people are gonna yell some interesting comments as they ride their bikes by. Not to mention the people on the Basketball court just behind the camera

My Foot

Oh oh oh! our return to plot-izing our movies. We have everything, motive, reason, comedy, fear, really harsh transitions because we were on such a time crunch we forgot to film the movements between attacks (actually it kinda works, keeps the energy moving and provided a great learning experience)

Best part was we got questioned by the police after Tom dented his car by jumping off of it. No formal charges filed. Thank God!

Taiji Challenge

Experimenting with mixed styles of martial arts. This is sorta bad wushu vs. good taiji. We have plans for a sequel, "Taiji Challenge 2: Now he knows Chen" Which otta who case the new improved ways Peter has for breaking my bones.

Cell Phone

Adventures in filming with larger groups. Actually, half the talent had to leave early so we just found a way to write them out quickly. Has an attempt at a plot, and I think it was a nice improvement over playground.

Playground

Our First Film, no plot, no reason, no talent. I don't know who is fighting who or what is going on, but it was fun to make. Take a look at our award winning short (it won some Homestead contest, go figure)
